About Me - In 3 strands
Transformative portraiture brings together 3 key strands, as my own life transforms into a joyous and integrated space. I would love to share some of my skills, energy and care to help you move forward.
Healing
For a long period, this side of me has been held back. I am now joyously in a period of integrating my healing background. I started out in co-counselling at a young age and travelled the world attending workshops and became a qualified teacher. I then trained and practised as a homeopath for over 20 years. During this time, I also took up kundalini yoga and meditation. These practises have profoundly helped me in difficult times. More recently I have studied reiki and become involved in both Vortex Healing and KAP. As I transform myself, I am drawn to help others do likewise
Photography
My photographic journey started about. 15 years ago when my then partner set up a vintage fashion business and I was roped in to take pictures. This started a long and passionate journey. A year in Portugal taking pictures. Two years as inhouse photographer for a music venue. My journey then led me to working in food and property for comapanies such as Deliveroo and JustEat, and Fine & Country, Plum Guide and Knight Frank.
From there I have developed my own style and focussed very much on candid photography whether for companies like KPMG and Velux or for weddings.
Business
I have been a self employed entrepreneur all my life. Starting as a software contractor even before I became a homeopath, a business which I ran successfully for many years. I have also been trustee and primary support for a youth charity and worked to help grow many enterprises in the creative/health sector. I have taught courses in counselling, photography and homeopathy and have organised many events from alternative medicine days to music events.
I have studied the process of branding, both visually as a photographer and more broadly in promotional terms.
